STAFF PICKS: 2024 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE
The holidays are here, and if you’re anything like me (Tanner, writing this), you still haven’t bought a single Christmas gift. I'm here to guide you. If your partner is even loosely into mountain sports, don’t worry—we’ve got you. If they bought that gravel bike off Facebook marketplace and only road it once, maybe it's the lack of killer sunglasses that is the missing puzzle piece. Or maybe it’s your brother-in-law’s Secret Santa gift you’ve been procrastinating on, and you think if you nail this gift he'll actually like you (looking at you Garrett).
Curt - The Powder Day Kit
As our fearless leader both in business and on the mountain, Curt sets the bar high—on and off the slopes. Now a proud dad, he’s juggling family life with his passion for adventure, squeezing in dawn patrol ski tours, quick lunch laps, and golden-hour singletrack rides whenever he can.
“My go-to kit is the Boundary helmet and Adapt 2 goggles,” he says. “I love that we designed the Boundary helmet to be so lightweight and ventilated—it’s perfect for what I want. And the Adapt 2? The visibility is good in these I forget I'm weaing goggles. That’s the way it should be.”

Drew - The Steamboat Staples
Who knew Drew had Arc’teryx money? These days, Drew’s calling Steamboat home, and when he’s not busy redesigning our website or capturing epic shots on a photoshoot, you’ll find him sneaking in laps at Steamboat Resort or earning his turns splitboarding up Rabbit Ears Pass.
“The REVEAL™ photochromic lenses on both my Adapt 2 goggles & Stash sunnies make them part of the ultimate everyday kit,” Drew says. Whether it’s chasing powder in flat light or a long skin on a bluebird day, they adjust seamlessly to the conditions—making sure he never misses a view or a line.

Megan - The Lift Selfie Look
Being a Portlander, Megan spends most of her on-snow time up at Mt. Hood Meadows. She wants to make sure she's ready for whatever weather comes her way, without worrying about her weekend kit.
“I keep my Adapt 2S and Boundary stashed in my ski bag by the door; I love not having to think about what I need to bring up to the mountain based on the conditions."

Cody - The Shred Dad Essentials
Cody has been sliding sideways on snow for over 30 years (and he's pretty dang good at it too). Although his seasons are no longer spent chasing contest wins or following Salt Lake snowboard legends off backcountry booters, he still gets out on the snow every chance he gets (often with the fam in-tow).
"I wasn't a helmet guy for much of my snowboard career (I know, I know...), so these days I want a low profile helmet that feels less helmet-y than most of what's out there but still keeps my noggin safe. That's why I always reach for the Tenmile MIPS. For goggles, I just want to see as much as possible and not think about 'em; it's that simple. I normally grab my Fathom+ on the way out the door for the increased field of view it offers."

I hope that helps. Either way, happy holidays!
